As a researcher in medical entomology for the CIRAD (Centre International de Recherche en Agronomie pour le Développement), I decided to create this website to put online some research data of my own production, or hardly available on internet.
Beside my publications in research journals, you will find reports and technical notes presented by themes (click on the photo at the right of this page) or chronologically (click on "publications" in the left column of this page). My phD report, entitled "Ecology of tsetse flies in the Mouhoun river basin of Burkina Faso: implications for the epidemiology and control of African trypanosomoses", is also available (pdf file of 8.2Mo).
The main theme in these publications is the ecology of tsetse flies, but you will also find inventories of butterflies and other insects that I achieve for projects of conservation of the African biodiversity. This allowed me to discover new species in Burkina Faso which were described threw a network of entomologist colleagues and friends, specialists of various families, like this wonderful Cetoninaea, named Dicronorhina kouensis.
